Premium or Gold Cards offer many advantages if you pay the renting with it. For instance, it covers up the payment of fixing in case of accident (if you are responsible), boarding with another boat, or many other insurances.
To see with your bank.
The total amount of the renting and the options has to be paid before leaving.
Sea and Sail accepts VISA and MASTER CARDS.

| First-Day Package | | For sailing-experienced customers, but who do not know the area, the boat's specificities, local meteo,..., we suggest you the First-Day package. It consists of leaving with a professsional skipper in order to give you all the tricks to continue your cruise serenely.
He will show you how to use the boat, things to avoid to do, and things to do absolutely.
If you haven't sailed for a long time, or if you have never sailed on your rented-boat type, we highly advise you to take this option.

| Currencies | |
|
| | Insurance and Contract | |
| | | Caraibean Islands contains many cultures, several nationalities, and so differents currencies.
In French Islands, you will use Euros. But think about taking some US Dollars before leaving your home country. You will dock the foreign islands without thinking about changing money. We alert you about the currency in the "English" or "Independant" islands: they use the EC Dollar.
The opposite chart gives you an idea about the currencies values.
Those datas are rough and cannot be considered as reference values.
|
| | Our boats are guaranteed by different specialized insurance companies;
The insurance switches on the tenant as soon as he signs the contract and the general conditions.
From the departure date to the term of the contract, you are insured for the boat and personal liability.
Obviously, some rules have to be respected; that's why we invite you to carefully read your contract.

| Good to know |
 |
It is very important to attentively listen to the people who give you the boat key, to ask them anything you wonder about, and please, take the time to appropriate to yourselves the boat.
To prepare the departures and arrivals from/to a dock avoids lot of stress and decreases the probability of troubles. For example: to tidy-up, to close the portholes, to study the card to analyse the situation according to the wind, the sea, other boats, etc...
Sailing is easy in West Indies, the weather is pleasant... But do not let you taken by surprise: anticipation is the keyword on the sea.
Your boat has been controled underwater before your arrival and it will be checked again in the next three days after you came back. Nevertheless, we invite you to dive when mooring and to call the base in the first 24 hours of renting to point out anything you judge it has to (concerning the hull as any other part of the boat). If it is something the technical crew couldn't do before you left, of course we won't charge you for those troubles.
We will send you back or destruct (according to your choice) your deposit at the term of the renting.
In case of long renting, the lessee will contact the base every ten days, in order to locate the boat.
