It won't be withdrawn from your account, only hold, but will be used in case of big troubles.

| Currencies | |
|
| Euros & US dollars | |
| | Insurance and Contract | |
|
This indication is approximative. |
|
| | Caribbean Islands contains many cultures, several nationalities, and so differents currencies.
In French Islands, you will use Euros. But think about taking some US Dollars before leaving your country. You will dock the foreign islands without thinking about changing money. We alert you about the currency in the "English" or "Independant" islands: they use the EC Dollar.
The opposite chart gives you an idea about the currencies values.
Those datas are rough and cannot be considered as reference values.
|
| | Our boats are guaranted by different specialized insurance companies.
The insurance switchs on the tenant as soon as he signs the contract and the general conditions.
From the departure date to the term of the contract, you are insured for the boat and personal liability.
Obviously, some rules have to be respected; that's why we invite you to carefully read your contract.
For any damage waiver insurance, cancelation and liabilitiy insurance you can contact OUEST ASSURANCE or HAMBURGER VERSICHERUNG SCHOMACKER.

| Good to know |
 |
|
|
It is very important to listen carefully our staff during the boat checking in, to ask them anything you wonder about, and please, take the time to appropriate yourselves to the boat.
Departures and/or arrivals from/to a dock must be well prepare to avoid stress and decrease the probability of troubles. (close the portholes, study the card to analyse the situation according to the wind, the sea, other boats, etc...)
Sailing is easy in West Indies, the weather is pleasant... But do not let you be taken by surprise: anticipation is the keyword on the sea.
All electronical materials are only here to help you sailing . Only your judgement count. You must have someone outside able to judge the sea condition and all the data.
Your boat has been controled underwater before your arrival and it will be checked again in the next three days after you came back. Nevertheless, we invite you to dive when mooring and to call the base in the first 24 hours of renting to point out anything you judge it has to (concerning the hull as any other part of the boat). If it is something the technical crew couldn't do before you left, of course we won't charge you for those troubles.
We will send you back or destroy (according to your choice) your deposit few days after your return.
In case of long charter, you have to contact the base every ten days, in order to locate the boat.
During the hurricane season, the captain will have a specific briefing and will have to follow some rules.
All the crew must be aware of those rules and be ready to react at any time in order to reach the closest shelter for example.
No damage waiver option during hurricane season.
